PATROL for Hitachi Freedom Storage leverages industry-standard and proprietary sources to gather performance, configuration, device status, and event information. Starting at the chassis level, you can drill-down into the storage array to view physical disk drives and the logical units that are presented to the hosts. You can also view performance metrics, including cache and host/director utilization and changes in I/O activity; power supply, temperature sensor, and fan status data; and configuration data like worldwide name, port state, port status and zoning.
